D-STREAM Co., Ltd. Personal Information Protection Policy

D-STREAM Co., Ltd. respects the rights of customers regarding personal information received from them in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information. We strictly and appropriately handle personal information, clearly specify the purpose of use in advance and obtain the customer’s consent before collecting and using such information, and strive to ensure safe management and raise awareness regarding all personal information obtained, as set forth in the following items.

  • (1) Basic Policy

    All persons engaged in the operations of D-STREAM Co., Ltd. must fully recognize the importance of personal information and promote and thoroughly comply with laws and regulations regarding the protection of personal information, handling such information accurately, safely, and appropriately, in order to protect the information of customers, employees, and all other related parties and respond to their trust.

    D-STREAM Co., Ltd. collects personal information by lawful and appropriate means.

  • (3) Management of Personal Information

    D-STREAM Co., Ltd. appoints responsible persons in relevant departments handling information and conducts appropriate management in order to keep collected personal information safe, up-to-date, and accurate.
    In addition, we appoint a Personal Information Protection Manager and grant the authority and responsibility necessary to promote compliance related to personal information protection and ensure safe management, and ensure proper execution of duties.

    When collecting personal information, D-STREAM Co., Ltd. clearly specifies in advance the purpose for which such information will be used.
    The purposes of use of personal information by our company are as follows.

    D-STREAM Co., Ltd. respects the rights of individuals regarding personal information, and when an individual requests disclosure, suspension of use, correction, or deletion of their information, we will respond within a reasonable period and scope. Except where there is a legitimate reason, we will not provide personal information to third parties without the consent of the individual.

    D-STREAM Co., Ltd. strengthens security measures such as access restrictions and prohibition of duplication to prevent unauthorized access, destruction, alteration, or leakage of personal information in its possession, and continuously verifies and monitors safety and operational conditions to further improve security.
    We also thoroughly manage documents related to personal information to prevent leakage.

    D-STREAM Co., Ltd. conducts regular and continuous education regarding the handling of personal information to enhance employee awareness of personal information protection, and continuously provides guidance and education on compliance with relevant laws and internal regulations.

    In accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, when a data subject (customer) makes a legitimate request for disclosure regarding the handling of personal information, we will disclose the existence of such personal information, the primary purposes of use, and the management details through the designated personal information inquiry desk following prescribed procedures.
